My MakeSenseMess Annual Celebration presentation
This is the talk I did for Abby Covert's MakeSenseMess annual celebration. This talk is focused on the process I went through writing the book. It talks about the collection of names, the organizing of people via role, via tasks, via time —classic information architecture. I share a lot of the spreadsheets I was using and show off the social media campaign, the connection diagrams and my hard drive. Through it all I shared the ever evolving table of contents as I interviewed people, looked for folks to increase diversity and having to cut and edit out a ton of folks due to word count and flow. I hope you find it interesting.
